Transform Your Community in January — Limited Spots, Close Soon!

The warmer weather has me missing summer a bit, but change is in the air.

As the leaves fall, they remind me that it’s a season of change. Today, I’m sharing a shift that will move my business from full-time to part-time coaching.

I’ve talked to many entrepreneurs over the years, and if you’re someone I had the pleasure of working with, I thank you for trusting my expertise. In a previous email, I hinted that this year’s business revenue has been lower than in past years.

Despite my hard work, I’ve decided to take a full-time role with a large retailer. I haven’t worked retail since the early 2000s, so I’m looking forward to connecting with people and helping them daily.

However, I’m not ending my business; rather, I’m shifting to group coaching to help more community builders at once. I’ve worked 1:1 with clients since 2020, and while I love that connection, it no longer fits my lifestyle as it once did.

With fall turning to winter, I’m preparing for more time offline, focusing on learning the responsibilities of my new role, staying active, and hopefully shedding some weight.

I plan to share more content, but you may not hear from me until the new year. So, here’s what I’m excited about in 2025:

Starting January 6, you’re invited to a step-by-step coaching program designed to help you build a thriving online community — whether it’s a course, structured program, or membership.

Launching an online community today offers options far beyond the early days of simple forums. However, these choices can feel overwhelming as new community builders face critical decisions before gathering their first members.

Whether you’re creating a course, program, or membership, decisions around format, pricing, timing, and length play a major role in your success.

American adults make an estimated 35,000 decisions daily, leading to decision fatigue. For community builders, this can be costly, with startup costs often reaching up to $20,000 in the first year. (See the breakdown here.)

Recently, I hosted a masterclass to share my community-building experience and announce my new coaching program, JumpStart 2025 (You can catch the recording here.)

After working with over 100 entrepreneurs, startups, and nonprofits, I can confidently say that many clients invested in technology before validating their program, course, or membership concepts.

Since 2020, countless clients have shared that I helped them overcome struggles they’d faced for six months or more! I became a consultant to help community builders and online business owners navigate the complexities of hosting, selling, and managing an online community.

I’ve hosted five mastermind groups, countless workshops, and collaborations with several small business owners. The biggest takeaway? New community builders often 1) try to do it all alone, and 2) spend too much time on tech before strategy.

I’m thankful for the online communities that have guided my personal and professional growth including the Community Consultants Collective, Third Nature, PodPros, A Better Place (Formerly The Mindful Living Collective), LaunchB4, Authors Who Lead, and Athena Village.

To solve this, rather than spending months experimenting without revenue, in just 60 days, you’ll gain access to proven tools, strategies, templates, and insights that save you thousands of dollars and hours of effort. Weekly prompts and check-ins keep you focused every step of the way.

JumpStart 2025 Details:
