This week tested my ability to “find calm” when experiencing the challenges of being a solo entrepreneur.

Ironically, as the owner of a company that helps other find calm in building an online business, I wasn’t finding calm in my own business.

It has been a few months since I started working full time and that means that I need to decide what to do with a business I spent five years building.

The first thought… nothing has to happen. I can do nothing. If you know anything about my journey, you can tell that’s not what I opted for.

Last year I was struggling to cover business and personal expenses which kicked off a job hunt. I landed a fantastic opportunity to support the growing cannabis industry and I jumped on it.

My website was down for several months because I couldn’t afford to pay what the web hosting company wanted me to pay. Without going down a rabbit hole, I’ll tell you that I had a battle with the company, and I lost.

As a wordpress writer for over 14 years, I tried my best to learn the platform on my own. Patching together site fixes with tedious steps from YouTube videos. Before starting this blog, I had three different blogs.

I believed in the platform and really wanted to nail my website, but I always lacked some education. Last…
