Find Calm community-building in 2021 with the Mighty Networks

Over the past year, I’ve been learning all about community-building on the Mighty Networks platform. It has not been without challenges.

After I decided to walk away from the sales world and dive head-first into community-building without a net, I’ve been going 100 miles per hour trying to figure out all the things.

Firstly — who I bring together, what we do together, and why members would want to invest their hard-earned money into a community with the tools and resources I’m offering each month.

Not only that, but also who has time to participate in live virtual events, comment on posts, and share challenges — all in this “safe space” I was building?

I didn’t know who my ideal member was a year ago.

I can sum up last year in a word= less. Not more.

I was promoting, marketing, and hosting weekly LIVE virtual events all while learning how to build a network, email list, and a sustainable business.

Can you say, overachiever much?

What I learned was that I can combine my experience building a Mighty Network with my newly found career as a community-builder and combine that with the podcast I launched last year. (Yep, I also launched a podcast!)

A year after I launched the Find Calm Here Community, I know who I am bringing together. It’s my clients, to offer a higher level of support. I know who I’m interviewing on the podcast, it is community-builders creating Mighty Networks.

Inside the Find Calm Here Community, I bring together Mighty Network Hosts who feel overwhelmed with launching a community, cultivating contribution, and creating an onboarding plan with the tools, resources, and support they need to find calm so that they can confidently create a community on the platform effectively by implementing the CALM Method of Clarity, Awareness, Learning, and Motion.

I believe it is so valuable to share the “messy” parts of building an online community and a new business because it allows for transparency and authenticity. I know I’ve changed my message a lot this past year, but one thing is now clear, I am on the path that I’ve been seeking and am so excited to share that with anyone interested in community-building.

A few months ago I was interviewed by a friend, Tom Norman, founder of Kickstart your Community and a CMX Connect Host who I met as an active community member on their slack channel. He wanted to know my thoughts on why I selected the Mighty Networks.

Here’s what I said:

“It is pretty simple to use and I like the visual design of the platform. I chose to launch my community on this platform because it removes the distractions and puts more focus on the topics of our community.”

In 2021, the Mighty Networks is, by far, in my opinion, the best place for a creator to build a sustainable community with the intention of offering a safe space, bringing together members for a specific “Big Purpose” and giving them a “forever promise” so that they will continue to participate and pay for the amazing value offered in these “tribes”

Not only that, but just a few weeks ago, The Mighty Networks recently raised over $50 Million to support their platform after the company experienced massive growth in 2020.
