Does your email provider work for you?

As a business owner, I juggle many responsibilities: marketing, sales, networking, content creation, business development — the list goes on! While writing came naturally, the idea of managing an email newsletter initially felt overwhelming when I launched my business in 2020.

That changed in 2021 when I discovered Kit (Formerly ConvertKit). Kit made email marketing simple with easy-to-follow instructions, guided videos, and a supportive customer forum. The platform made what once seemed daunting, doable.

In 2022, I experimented with another email provider and regretted it soon afterward. I spent over $1K hiring someone to help me create a lead magnet and email sequence after spending hours trying to figure it out. The lead magnet didn’t work, and I didn’t get many subscribers. Most of all, I didn’t convert any of these subscribers to community members.

Then in 2023, I returned to Kit the results were night and day. My stagnant list began to grow! By segmenting my audience and weeding out inactive readers, I increased my open rate from 30% to 48%! Now I have more than 500 active subscribers who are opening my emails!

Many of these subscribers downloaded the Creator to Community Builder Workbook or subscribed to the Calm Community Creator Weekly.
